JALのボーイング７４７がエンジンを左右逆に取り付け7ヶ月も飛行を続ける

ＪＡＬ：左右エンジン取り違え　７カ月間飛行

　日本航空のボーイング７４７型機が、整備点検の際に左右のエンジンを取り違えて設置し、７カ月間にわたって飛行を続けていたことが分かった。同社が委託していたシンガポールの整備会社が設置をミスし、日航は機体を受け取る際に気づいていなかった。この影響で、片方のエンジンの検査間隔が規定時間を過ぎていた。国土交通省は再発防止を指示した。

エンジンの性能は同一だが、設置場所によって向きが異なるため逆噴射時の空気の流れに影響するが、運航の安全性に問題はないという。

エンジンを左右逆って・・・
